These terms cover your use of Saunatomy, the free designer and the paid Studio membership. By creating an account or joining Studio you agree to them.

The designer is free

Anyone can use the designer without an account. Your draft is kept in your own browser. We offer it as is, and it may change as we improve it.

Studio membership

• Studio is a monthly subscription. It adds saving designs to your account (up to 100), construction drawings, material and cut lists, the 3D build helper, and the airflow and heat analysis.
• The price is shown before you pay, and Stripe charges it to your card each month until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from Studio → Membership. Your membership, and the tools, stay open until the end of the month you have paid for, and it does not renew after that.
• Refunds. Payments are not refundable for partial months, except where the law requires otherwise. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we will put it right.
• When a membership ends, designs you saved stay in your account to open and delete, but you cannot change them until you rejoin.

What the drawings are, and are not

Saunatomy checks designs against published sauna-building guidance and produces detailed drawings and lists as a starting point for you and your builder. They are not a certified engineering design and not a building permit. Local building codes, electrical and fire-safety rules, the heater manufacturer's instructions and the judgement of qualified trades always come first. Have structure, electrics, the heater installation and chimney or flue checked by qualified people before you build. The airflow and heat analysis is a simplified simulation: indicative, not a certification.

Your account

• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or scrape it at scale.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can delete your account at any time in Studio → Account.

Your designs

Your designs are yours. You may build from them and share the drawings with your builder. The software, the drawing style and the site remain ours.

Limits of our liability

To the extent the law allows, Saunatomy is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for building work done from the drawings. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Beta

Saunatomy is in beta. Features may change, and we may occasionally be offline for maintenance. We will tell members by email before any change to the price.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and email members about any that affect them. Continuing to use Studio after a change takes effect means you accept it; you can cancel instead.
